Etched Stainless Steel Plates

In Suprametal we are experts in producing industrial plates for product identification, being able of withstanding aggressive environments in extreme conditions. Our engraved stainless steel plates are long lasting durable and therefore the prime example of resistance and quality.

Industrial plates, CE marking plates, identification plates, rating plates, type plates and brand plates can be used in pumps, valves, motors, tanks, cisterns and containers. Stainless steel etching is applied commonly in sectors, such as chemical, transport, logistics, food and hostelry, among others.

We use alloys of AISI 304 and AISI 316 material. Chemical engraving with raised or sunken areas. Material thickness range, from 0.4 mm to 2.0 mm Surface finishes: Glossy, 2B, Brushed, Matt. The etched areas become sunken in a matt finish, clearly contrasting with the not etched areas.

Colour prints possible. The colours are infilled inside the etched areas to increase their adhesion and resistance to mechanical abrasion. We use high quality inks to ensure long lasting outdoor durability, enduring high temperatures and most aggressive environments. There is also the option of lacquered final protection, anti-fingerprints and solvent resistant.

Moreover, the cut is realized tailored, in order to grant the desired shape to the plate. We have a wide assortment of cutting tools that combined with our CNC machining systems – now also available with laser cutting -, allow us to adapt on any customer requirement. Finally, we offer variable data coding service by means of using state-of-the-art laser marking equipment.
